Family Pictures

# T E A M   S I A L O I   2 0 2 1

Finally got around to taking new family pictures. If you know me, you know my kids are my greatest accomplishment and then there is my everything, Brax! I don't boast about my kids but I do boast what God has done through my kids. As much as I've tried to shape them, they've shaped me as a person, as a mother, as a believer and as their friend. In that order too [smiles]. Friend lastly, mother firstly.

In all of my runnings and in search of myself and the numerous reinventions of myself, being a mother to them has been the most rewarding and most invigorating version of myself that I have loved the most. In this season and in this moment, I embrace the reflections of my children that reflect back to myself.

The reflection that mirror Christ's love, the reflection that takes into consideration the need for grace to deal with our imperfections. While they are all adulting now, I contemplate and recall being in their shoes, once upon a long time ago [hysterical grin]. I haven't forgotten the mistakes of my youth as those days have taught me invaluable lessons that has given me great faith.

In hindsight, it is in the testing, in the mistakes, in our failures and lack of faith where we can gain our greatest opportunity to turn it around. Sometimes faith is supernatural and we see miraculously instant life changing faith overnight. Sometimes faith is progressive, where it goes through phases and grows a little at a time. As long as you find your faith (whether big or small) and work at it, put it to the test, you'll find it. The key is keep pushing, one foot in front of the other is all He's asking for. Keep stepping forward ya'll!

This is us

Our Eldest, Byrd

Our Middle, Bay

Our Youngest, Bubz

My gift from God, I love you Babe!

My grandson is outdoorsy, like his Gamma.

Our EVERYTHING and his Mommy

My greatest accomplishment, my kids!!

I love ya'll so much. Even when ya'll make me go from 0 to 100 in seconds.

Whatever you do, do it well. Suck it up and just do it. [looks at Bubz]

Mama's sharp shooters, less talk more action.

Bubz: Work hard to play hard. Promotions come from God!

Nana trying everything to get Brax to smile. Brax: "Nana, I'm not in the mood"

Life hack: build a good work ethic from a young age, climb the ladder and put time under your belt.

Thank you God for the life you have given us.

Mom's going home celebration February 2021

Words evade me as Moms day came and went. I'm grateful for all our loved ones who've traveled near and far to lay mom to rest. As everyone travels back to Vista, Ramona, Orange County, Samoa, Hawaii, Seattle, Arizona, Utah, Texas and Missouri,  Brad and I will cherish these few days FOREVER.

You've helped us carry our sorrow and have taken our minds off our loss but to enjoy this moment we've been gifted with to reminisce and share stories.

Thank you family for being apart of this journey for Brad and I as we laid our last parent down to rest. I thank God we've had such a humble and godly example to follow, whose lives were simple and dedicated in service to the Lord. What a life mommy...I will see you again, hugs to daddy for me.

Brad and I carry you both with us always, I will never forget your teachings, your training and your life lessons.

Thank you Mom for bringing all of us together. Here is to the journey this past week...enjoy!

Shoutout to my daughters for being on the other side of the lens when possible throughout the week. Thank you Faith, Baylee and Salvation for your expertise. Ya'll know it would be me working the camera if I could.

Faafetai atu i aiga itugalua ile omai mamao aua le aso o si ma Tina. To God be all the glory for  a successful send off for our Mommy dearest.

Cherish every moment with your parents....as we get older, sometimes we forget they are getting older too. I'm grateful not to have unfinished business with both of my parents. Love hard, forgive quickly, have no regrets. I'll see you soon Dad & Mom.
